Alumni of the Year Nomination Form
Introduction
Each year, two Providence alumni (one from the University College and one from the Seminary) receive the Alumnus/Alumna of the Year Award. This award celebrates alumni who have made significant contributions to the church and/or society through their profession, ministry or volunteerism. The winning alumnus/alumna will be contacted and the award will presented on the Providence campus at our annual graduation ceremonies in April.
Qualifications
Recipients should meet the following qualifications:
- Must have a degree from Providence University College or Providence Theological Seminary
- A follower of Christ who demonstrates a positive testimony in the church and in their community
- In agreement with institutional mission and with Providence's Statement of Faith
- A supporter of Christian higher education, in general, and Providence University College & Theological Seminary through finances, prayer, and/or volunteerism.
PLEASE NOTE: recipient must be available to attend graduation ceremony. Nominee submissions will be collected and a final decision will be made by the President's Cabinet.
