At the beginning of each academic semester (September and January), students who are planning to live in residence will move in to their room. Dates for these move-ins will be communicated to students by Residence Life staff ahead of time. Room assignments and keys will be distributed on the day of the move-in when students arrive. For students returning after Christmas Break, items can be left in your residence room as the building will be locked and inaccessible during the break. Any deviation from move-in and move-out dates must have prior approval from the Residence Life Director. Approved early arrivals or late departures will result in a $40 per day charge that is placed on the students’ account. Students who arrive early or depart late without approval from the Residence Life Director will incur charges of $80 per day, and will be required to leave campus until the appropriate date of return.
Mature Student Housing
Provided that prior consent is given by the Executive Assistant for Student Life, new tenants may arrive at their campus accommodations on any day of the year, but for the majority of tenants, move-in dates are typically at the beginning of each semester – September 1, January 1, and May 1. Once the tenancy is confirmed, incoming tenants should expect to receive move-in instructions and further campus housing information via email within 2-4 weeks of their move-in date.
