Alumni Student Bursary

Graduates of Providence University College or Providence Theological Seminary with a degree are eligible to receive the Alumni Student bursary, applicable for one course per semester from the school they graduated from.  

Applications for this bursary are due 1 week before the registration deadline (2 Fridays before the semester start date).  

Student fees and lab fees are not included in this bursary.  

Per semester, this bursary may be applied toward the tuition of one course, as follows:

• 100% of audit tuition
• 50% of credit tuition

The following courses are not eligible: 

• Acadeum courses 
• Applied Music courses 
• Aviation courses 
• CODE courses
• Counselling Theory Practicum (CP5501, CP5502, CP5601, CP6502) 
• Doctor of Ministry courses 
• Introductory Computer Usage I (233.12) 
• Letter of Permission courses  
• Providence Downtown courses

Applicants will be notified if this bursary application is not approved.  

Ladder Programs

Ladder Programs are those with levels of graduation options. Students who have graduated from one level may NOT receive the alumni bursary for enrollment in the same program at a higher level.

Examples of Ladder Programs:

• Business Administration: Associate of Arts → Bachelor of Arts
• Biblical & Theological Studies: Certificate → Bachelor of Arts
• Aviation: Diploma → Bachelor of Arts
• Counseling: Graduate Certificate → Master of Arts 2 YR → Master of Arts 3 YR
• TESOL: Graduate Certificate → Master of Arts
