Emergency Protocol

IN CASE OF FIRE

1. Sound the fire alarm (SecurTek automatically notifies 911)
2. Notify your RD
3. OR call the on-call maintenance staff at 431-815-4311

IN CASE OF SERIOUS ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT

1. Residence students can call the RD on-call phone.
2. (International Students ONLY) Notify the International Student Services Coordinator
3. (Commuter Students ONLY) Notify the Campus Life Director - Student Leadership or Campus Life Director - Administration

IN CASE OF FIRST AID/CPR

Several individuals on Staff and Faculty are certified in First Aid/CPR. Basic first aid kits are available in the Welcome Centre and around campus. The campus is equipped with six AEDs located throughout the buildings.

1. Residence students can call the RD on-call phone.
2. Depending on the severity of the situation, either call Manitoba Health Links or 911. Fire alarms in Hanna, Eichhorst, MTH, and SLC are monitored; when an alarm is initiated, SecurTek automatically notifies 911.
