Theological Seminary Orientation Day
September 3, 2024
Seminary Orientation Day is a day for all seminary students and faculty focused on community building and spiritual formation. This day equips you with what you need to know as you begin your first or another year of studies. It will include some time to get to know your faculty and other students through formal introductions and informal conversations. We will also have our first chapel of the year and some educational sessions on how to make the most of your time at Providence.
The main event is hosted on our Otterburne, MB campus from 9am-4pm CST (with optional games and supper to follow). Faculty are also hosting events in Southern Ontario for distance students. This event will include participating in the online sessions and eating a meal together.
Meals are provided for those attending in-person on our Otterburne, MB campus and at the ON extension. Those unable to attend a live event are encouraged to join the sessions online.
Note: New students will complete a short academic orientation course prior to this Orientation Day which will highlight other areas of orientation including Populi, registration, writing skills and tools, etc.
