What to Pack

It is best to pack your belongings in a duffel bag or something collapsible; there is limited storage space available for suitcases or plastic totes in residence closets. Don’t try to bring everything you own and remember that you can always collect more belongings from home during Christmas break or reading week.

Students are responsible for insuring all personal items, whether stored on the premises or in individual rooms. Students should consider purchasing renter's insurance. Some homeowner’s insurance policies do not cover belongings in a residence hall.

The following is a list of things you may like to have in your dorm room. It does not include items you may require for the classroom (backpack, pens, paper, etc.).
