At Providence, we care about life and learning outside the classroom just as much as inside. We'll help you adjust to life at university as well as care for your physical, emotional, psychological and social well-being during your stay! Have questions about international student services, off-campus employment, career services or counselling? Maybe you're looking for a tutor or some research help? We can help you access these and other services.

Career services available to students are career coaching, job search guidance, employment database access, resume preparation, and interview training. In addition to these services, we also provide students with access to printed and/or online materials such as career resource books, job classifieds, and job search handouts.

Get the support you need during your time at Providence! Whether you think your needs are big or small, we're here to help. Our counselling services are available to all Providence students. Counselling provides students with the opportunity to pursue personal growth and to receive assistance while working through difficult experiences.

Counselling Services are also available through your insurance at keep.meSAFE. You can access the program at They have counsellors available 24/7 that you can contact through their app, their website, or by phone. Support is available in many different languages so that you can speak to a counsellor in the language you feel most comfortable.

At Providence Downtown students will have access to immigration related services. These following services are provided by regulated immigration consultants.

  • Study permit extension applications
  • Co-op / WIL (Work-Integrated Learning) work permit applications
  • Replacement or amendments of temporary resident permits

This form is to purchase a Post-Secondary Peggo Card to participate in the Winnipeg Transit discount program for post-secondary students. Requests will only be processed on the deadlines for each Term. When your card is ready, you will receive an email notification.

This form is for our Providence Downtown Students enrolled in the Associate of Arts in Business program & Seminary Distance Students only. For Otterburne Campus students, please email our Library Staff for assistance. 

Processing your request may take up to 7 business days. When your ID is ready, you will either receive an email that it is ready for pick-up (Downtown Students) or the card by postal mail (Distance Students).
