Eligibility & Reservations

Eligibility

The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible to apply for campus housing:

  1. Final acceptance into Providence from the Providence Enrollment Management team.
  2. Proof of an approved Canadian study permit (international students only).
  3. Must be at least 20 years of age. See our Housing Policy.

Please note that prospective tenants may be put on a waiting list until availability can be properly assessed. 

Reservations

The following steps must be completed for a reservation to be valid. The first tenant to complete these steps will be awarded the apartment/room and any others will remain on the waiting list.

  1. A tenancy agreement signed by both the prospective tenant and the Executive Assistant for Student Life.
    • Tenancy agreements are offered in lengths of 4, 8, and 12 months to align with the semester schedule, though there is some flexibility in these contract lengths on a case-by-case basis.
  2. A damage deposit paid in full to the Providence Business Office. Damage deposit amounts vary depending on the size of accommodations.
