Here, you can find out who to contact in Student Life, as well as contacts and resources in case of emergency for both on and off-campus.
The Vice President of Student Life oversees the Student Life staff and helps to develop policies and procedures for campus life, but they are also an advocate for students concerning academic and mental health accommodations.
The Associate Director of Student Life oversees the Prov Downtown Student Life team, providing leadership for campus life and student programming, while also supporting student well-being and fostering a vibrant campus community.
Beyond orientation, the International Student Services Coordinator provides ongoing assistance and support for students dealing with immigration (consultations, renewal, and/or acquiring documents), medical visits and international health insurance, and for the many cross-cultural issues that arise during the school year.
The Intake Counsellor is a great resource for students that need help processing and managing personal struggles in many areas of life. The Intake Counsellor will meet with students for an initial assessment to determine the kind of supports they need and then pair the student with one of our capable student counsellors that is part of the M.A. Counselling program in the Providence Seminary for continued free counselling sessions.
The Campus Pastor oversees the spiritual life of students, offering pastoral care, mentoring students, and providing leadership for chapel services and discipleship initiatives.
Academic Advisors help students interpret degree requirements, identify resources to support their academic progress, and map out successful study plans during their first year at Providence. They also assist with career planning, accessibility and accommodations, time management, and academic skill-building.
The Student Services Advisor is here to help you with whatever needs you may have from academic advising to issues with the registrar’s office or the business office. They will also plan regular community building events. They are a resource for you, whatever your needs may be.
